  • Parking on race day will be $10 or more at the University and Calhoun Garages.  Most street parking will be unavailable due to road closures for the Bearcats Dash & Bash. You may pre-purchase your parking online now for just $5 to park in the University Garage (or, if the University Garage fills, in the Calhoun Garage).  (Please see below for important instructions about how to redeem the pre-purchased parking pass, how to use the pre-purchase parking website, and a UC Campus map showing the portion of the race courses that run through campus as well as the parking garages).
    • (1) After pre-purchasing online, YOU MUST PRINT YOUR PARKING PASS and present it to the attendant at the University Garage on race day.  The University Garage will be staffed with an attendant starting at 6:30 a.m.. The parking garage attendant WILL NOT HAVE A RECORD of who has purchased a $5 pass, nor will anyone affiliated with the Bearcats Dash & Bash.  So if you do not print your parking pass, you will have to pay $10 or more to park in this or any other campus garage.
    • (2) If the University Garage reaches capacity, you will be directed to the Calhoun St. Garage, but you WILL NOT be able to use the pre-paid parking pass at the Calhoun St. Garage UNLESS THE UNIVERSITY GARAGE FILLS.  (In other words, if after looking at the UC Campus map, you decide that you’d prefer to park in the Calhoun St. Garage over the University Garage, you will not be able to use the pre-paid pass for the Calhoun garage unless the University Garage has already reached maximum capacity).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE PRE-PURCHASE PARKING WEBSITE:  After clicking the parking link, click on “prepaid parking” under the Bearcats Dash &
Bash logo.  When the next screen opens DO NOT CREATE A GUEST ACCOUNT.  Instead, scroll to the top of the screen and select “Events.” After clicking “Events,” select “Other Events.”  Then “Bearcats Dash & Bash” will appear as an option.  You may then add a $5 parking pass to the University Garage to your basket for purchase.  Once you have purchased the pass, then print it and bring it with you on race day, October 1, to present to the parking garage attendant.

  • Are spectators permitted on the course?
    • The courses are all traffic-controlled so spectators are welcome at any point along the way.  Cheer, bring signs, don’t by shy! The runners love your support!
